Manon Anne Gillis has been creating music using primitive systems since the 1980s. In her ninth solo album, she weaves together voice, breathing, words and sounds using ingenuous methodologies. Gillis emphasizes that her sound is not conceptual, and that feeling and immersion matter far more than understanding.

Eyry is her new album that consists of ten pieces. The compositions approach sound as a tactile, sensory experience, transforming spoken word and singing into blurred noise and irregular repetitions, often embedded into rhythm tracks to create intimate, immersive sonic worlds. The album was mastered by Maiko Okimoto and released in a limited edition LP of 300 copies + DL code that has all tracks.
