Description
Ieskadulla is an experimental noise project from Finland, emerging from the country’s long-standing underground tradition of abrasive and exploratory sound practices. Prior to Apuvälinekeskus, the project had already established its aesthetic through earlier cassette releases, operating within a field that draws from harsh noise, power electronics, and abstract sound collage. Ieskadulla’s work focuses on texture, density and duration rather than conventional musical form, treating sound as material to be shaped, layered and destabilized. The result is music that feels physical and immersive, marked by controlled intensity, restrained movement, and a strong sense of spatial tension.
Apuvälinekeskus is Ieskadulla’s first full-length album, released as a CD (Digipak) and digital edition on the Finnish experimental label Satatuhatta. The album consists of three extended compositions, allowing the sound to unfold gradually through evolving distortion, feedback and amplified textures. Mastered by Pentti Dassum and featuring cover photography by Antti Nylén, the release emphasizes clarity within heaviness, presenting noise as a structural and deliberate practice rather than pure impact. As both a sonic statement and a carefully presented physical edition, Apuvälinekeskus stands as a strong and focused entry in the Satatuhatta catalogue and a key release in Ieskadulla’s developing discography.
