Description
Creep Of Paris is the solo project of Thomas LaRoche (also known as Eudocimus Ruber), drawing inspiration from Peugeot 306 (2001), The Beach Boys, and Science Fiction Farming. Alongside his audio and visual work, he breeds insects and trades secondhand books. His releases span a variety of experimental labels, including Drowned by Locals, Index Clean, Chocolate Monk, and Beartown Records, as well as his own label, Research Laboratories (U.K.).
This album marks the second part of a trilogy, following Karaoke World I and II, continuing LaRoche’s exploration of displacement, nostalgia, and the absurd within his fractured sonic world.
In “Virgin Brood”, LaRoche blends lo-fi, outsider collage, fractured pop, and psych elements — a surreal mix of warped harmonies, field recordings, and DIY electronics.
