Altar Of Flies is the project of Mattias Gustafsson, active within experimental and noise-based sound practice. A Lifetime presents extended recordings built from layered electronics, processed signals and sustained tonal presence.

The first CD consists of a single composition (38:24), structured around loops, spoken word fragments and field recordings. The piece develops gradually, moving through distinct stages of accumulation and reduction, shaping a restrained yet persistent dystopian atmosphere.

The second CD contains seven compositions that expand the material concerns of the first disc, focusing on texture, repetition and controlled structural shifts.
