Description

Emerging from France’s rural underground experimental scene, Xeroxhead is working with cassette recorders, microcassettes, and reel-to-reel machines, he builds long-form looping compositions through tape manipulation, magnetic decay, and feedback. His music lives among the trees and the French countryside landscape. Xeroxhead creates endless loops, manipulating the tape recorders to build at times a chaotic noisy scenery, and at others a blurred and indistinct sonic landscape.

Recordings of his have been released, besides Public Froth, by Un Poco Fría, Hemliga Skolan Produktion, Éconore and other labels, usually in very limited editions. LANDSKAB was issued in a small recycled cassette edition, emphasizing the organic and ephemeral character of the release.
