Iversen: "WHERE IN THIS WORLD ARE YOU" Norwegian Label Krakilsk records is one of the most unconventional companies, since each one of its releases has to offer a unique sound, the least. This cd-r includes a 29 minute improvisation by Iversen, starting indolently and showing Drone disposition, enriching it with low-frequency noise. Still, at some point, in the 16th minute a jovial childhood melody begins to show and from there onwards the track moves towards its partial self-destruction. |

Napalmed / Ego Death : "SPLIT" Napalmed is a noise / industrial band from the Czech Republic . It is among the thousands of bands who have collaborated with Merzbow, and on the whole the band has been included in lots of releases. The 11-1-2000 live performance included in this split carried us away immediately, and it’s easy to realise from the beginning that we missed another worth attending concert. Ambient noise, but not at all meaningless, with a continuous industrial activity and vocals, wolf eyes like, compiles this incredible Live version! |

Inverz: "VARIATIONS ON HOLD " Inverz, from Thessalonica , Greece is one of the most active underground musicians in Thessalonica. Being a member of Good Luck Mr. Gorsky, Egg collective etc. seems to be of no importance, since in variations on hold Inverz presents his own version of music. This album combines Fennez’s sound with the melancholy of the decaying urban scenes. A guitar feedback mixed with genial electronic tricks, which at times can be a really husky production like in the song "Ihni", make up quite a claustrophobic atmosphere. These dark sounds could be a fine film soundtrack! |

Tasos Stamou: "ELECTROACOUSTIC IMPROVISATION #1" Judging by the cover, the way is already paved for the vein of Tassos Stamos’ latest work. By using sampled natural sounds produced by various traditional instruments and mixing them in a ritualistic mood, he introduces a unique long-play piece. The sound has strong reference to the neo-psychedelic scene in Finland . The composition progresses slowly, with new sounds enriching it and being added all the time, so as the composition progresses towards its end, it also reaches the climax of musical ecstasy. |

Pascal Battus - Alfredo Costa Monteiro : "DUCTILE" It was recorded in August 2007, in Paris . The sounds come from paper and microphones. At first, you are wondering how can we have a creative result out of this; still, it’s quite impressive. Especially, if we take into account that no mixing or effects have been used. It’s hard to believe that this well-constructed noise-music is the result of these “music" instruments only. It’s a music improvisation at the scope of noise, and simultaneously a piece of really genial music! |
